FABULOUS SHOW AT THE ROSEMONT THEATRE IN CHICAGO
The concert was fabulous. Frankie was amazing and his voice is still the best. Had so much fun. The audience joined in singing and dancing It was a blast. Thank you, Frankie!!. Go see the show, you will not be disappointed! I was with my two younger sisters and my best friends. Girls, wear some sequence!!
I had seen all of the Four Seasons back in the 1970's in Chicago at the First "Chicago Fest" at Navy Pier! I took my younger sisters with me at that time too.
Please come back to Chicago at the Rosemont Theatre. We will come again!!!!!!!
Nosebleed Experience
We got tickets late so ended up in the very last row of the balcony. The leg room was 100% better than concerts I have attended at other venues, the sound carried amazingly well, and the placement of restrooms and beverage/snack stations on every level was a definite plus but that is where the positives ended. The lighting effects were distracting and lacking relevance. The major disappointing fact was no big screens to view for the unlucky way up so all performers looked like large ants. Not sure I will ever return especially with the long drive from near Sun City.
Mixed Feelings
So let me say at 87 years old I give props to Frank Valli for just being on stage! God Bless Him! I was amazed that there were so many hit songs that they were able to fill up a show… I thought it was a great tribute!! My only issue was a song he did called Harmony. I didn’t have an issue with the song or his intro to it … of course I believe in Harmony and the sentiments attached to it but my is was the images that were joined with the song. I felt like I was watching an infomercial for the vaccine… I felt to portray Harmony there were better suited images perhaps people of different backgrounds, color or ethnicity working together… children together… the police perhaps shown working with people since they are given such a bad rap… but it focused on the vaccine… sorry was totally not a fan! All in all I was glad to attend even though I figured he sang somewhat to tracks it was still a great time!!
